The people who lead the groups are paid properly for their work. Nobody is paid to run the charity, and nothing goes to fundraising commission or to a building we do not yet own. This page is our plan for every shekel, written before the money arrives, so you can hold us to it afterward.
Nothing is taken now, and a promise is not a contract.
Mercaz Tally is in its first year. What follows is a spending plan, not yet a record of spending. The first audited account of where the money actually went will be published in January 2027, on this page, whether or not the numbers flatter us.

Fees for licensed therapists and trained facilitators, the rooms we rent by the hour, and the materials a group needs: flour, seeds, notebooks, prints. This is the part that becomes an actual afternoon in an actual room with an actual person.
Every group keeps at least one place that nobody pays for. Somebody asks quietly, we say yes quietly, and nothing else about their participation changes. This is the line we protect first when money is tight.
Bookkeeping and the annual audit an Israeli amuta is required to file, liability insurance, the registrar's fees, and the cost of this website. Unglamorous, and the reason we are allowed to operate at all.
Therapists and facilitators are paid a fee for the sessions they lead. That is the 75% above, and we will not underpay them. What nobody draws is a salary for administering Mercaz Tally, the founder included. If that changes, the board decides it and we publish the role and the amount here first.
Nobody is paid a percentage of what they raise for us. No street canvassers, no telephone rooms, no commission-based agencies.
Word of mouth, community noticeboards, and this website. We would rather run one more group than buy attention.
Gala dinners, branded merchandise, a launch event. The test is whether it puts a person in a room with help.
We will not invent a number to make a gift sound bigger than it is. Once our workshop costs are final we will publish what each amount buys.
Amounts in multiples of chai (18). We currently have no way to issue tax receipts. The Section 46 application will only be submitted in January 2027, and the approval process takes time. Once approval is granted, we will be able to issue receipts.
The long-term dream is a piece of land outside Bet Shemesh where the nature work has a home. It is a real intention and it is years away. We are not raising money for it.

The account opens in about two weeks. Until then a promise is all we can take, and it is what tells me whether we can start. Nothing is taken now.
