Nobody should have to write to a charity to find out whether they can use its website. This page says what we have done, what is still wrong, and who to tell. If reaching us is itself the hard part, that is the failure we most want to hear about.
This statement describes work we have actually done, but it has not been reviewed by an accessibility surveyor as the Israeli regulations expect.
We build this site to WCAG 2.1 at level AA, the level the Israeli standard IS 5568 expects of a site like ours. A standard is a floor, not a finish, so where we know something is still hard we have written it down below rather than left you to discover it.
Every page was audited again on 17 August 2026, after the site changed color. We darkened text, links and form borders that fell short on contrast, and made sure color alone never marks a link or the current page.
Every link, button and field can be used without a mouse, with a visible ring showing where you are. Each page has a skip-to-content link and headings in order, so a screen reader can move through it. Language and direction follow the EN and עב switch, nothing moves by itself, and the smallest type was enlarged.
We would rather list these than have you find them.
This statement covers the website. We do not yet have a building of our own, and programs will be held in rented rooms. Once a room is booked we will say here what it takes to get into it (step-free entry, a lift, an accessible toilet, distance from parking and a bus), so you can read it before deciding to come rather than having to ask.
